Aims and Scope
Aims
The Journal of Urban Structure and Function Studies pursues the following policies with the aim of helping to improve the level of urban planning knowledge with Islamic-Iranian principles and criteria and supporting Iranian researchers based on local findings:
- Support basic research on theories of urban and regional planning based on indigenous political, economic, social and cultural conditions.
- Assisting the development of methods and techniques of management and urban- regional planning.
- Increasing knowledge in relation to evaluating urban and regional development policies and strategies in Iran and transferring past experiences and lessons and finding optimal policies and strategies in accordance with the current conditions of urban places.
- Participation of researchers, managers and experts in the field of urban- regional management and planning in compiling theoretical and experimental articles.
- Attracting the participation of researchers from other countries and providing a platform for establishing scientific exchange and transfer of experiences, especially with researchers from other Islamic countries.
