Abstract

livability as a multidimensional general concept is a reflection of the type of activity that takes in the urban environment. it can be said that livability takes by guiding the spatial organization city. Since the livability is measured based on the geographical and local conditions derived from the spatial organization, the study also seeks to investigate the impact of spatial organization on the livability of the city of Ilam. The method of this research is descriptive-analytical and survey. Data were collected using a library-documentary and field method .The statistical population of the study is experts and scholars living in Ilam city, Among them, the sample size of the research was determined by snowball of 30 people. For data analysis, simple linear regression model and Pearson correlation coefficient have been used. The results show the correlation intensity of 0.951 for the sum variables. The result of Pearson correlation coefficient shows that there is a significant correlation with very strong correlation. Based on the linear regression test, among the spatial organization indicators, of natural factors, the most impact on the livability of the city Ilam and in the next levels there are historical, social, physical and activity factors and, consequently, economic structure with different correlation coefficients. Also, the results of the regression test showed that the adjusted adjustment coefficient is equal to 0/902, according to which the independent variable can explain 90.2% of the changes of the dependent variable and the rest of the changes are affected by variables outside the model.
