An Analysis of the Functional Features of Sanandaj City with Emphasis on City and Village Links

Abstract

Today, the two phenomena of the city with the village are not separate from each other, but they are presented as a system in a particular geographic space. The dynamics of a spatial organization are influenced by the roles and functions of urban and rural settlements, as well as relationships, relationships and links between cities and villages, through the flow of people, goods, money, information and diverse occupational patterns. The purpose of this study was to investigate the functional and functional abilities of the city and village links in Sanandaj city. The research method, descriptive-analytical, has been used to explain the city-to-area relationship with the periphery using the Spss software used from various indicators in economic, social, administrative, service and physical dimensions. By means of non-parametric tests, Chi-square test T and computational methods. The results showed that the economic factor with the highest coefficient of 67%, the physical factor with the coefficient of 61% had the least impact on the linkage of Sanandaj with peripheral villages. The results also showed that villages less distant than Sanandaj not only have a high topographic condition, but also extend the city-to-city linkage, but it has been a place for the concentration of rural immigrant populations. To this end, serious efforts to manage peripheral villages, in order to organize their spatial-spatial development, are inevitably imperative.
